Styling is a tool that can and should be used on a daily basis.
There is no need to have a model’s proportions or a lot of money in order to dress nicely and stylishly. Style does not have to be exclusive. In fact, the ability to look and feel stylish allows us as women to march into the world feeling good on the inside and holding our heads up high. Every woman has the capacity to better understand her body type and which clothes flatter her the most. Any woman can find her inner style; translate it into clothes that work for her body and personality while avoiding expensive mistakes.
The dress code in Israel is one of the most informal and loose among Western countries. As such, it lacks explicit rules which make it difficult to define what appropriate work wear is. Many women adhere to tough, shapeless clothes in muted colors in order to assimilate in a traditionally male- oriented work place. On the other hand, many women do not differentiate between femininity and sexuality, and arrive at work wearing age-inappropriate clothing that embarrasses their peers and does not correspond with the corporate culture.
I’m Ruti Treves and I’m a personal stylist. What does that mean? I help women to look their best and to feel great. I lead workshops on how to dress for work in for both personal forums and corporate environments I write a fashion column in TheMarker Magazine, the largest business magazine in Israel, and articles about economy and fashion. I perform trend forecasts and conduct fashion shoots. I’m a proud mother of two, and above it all I’m a woman, juggling between work, family and home obligations. Sound familiar?
Perhaps you are a woman who struggles with some of the issues above and has never known where to turn or even if a change in your style identity was even possible! As a woman like yourselves, I am certain I can help you make the changes you require to look and feel as amazing as you truly are.
